Parking Areas

The areas designated for parking are clearly marked. Please park in the designated areas only.

Alcohol, Drugs and Controlled Substances

There is NO SMOKING anywhere on school property. Any use or possession of a controlled substance or its paraphernalia, including prescribed and over the counter medications, is a serious disregard for school policy and law, and will not be taken lightly. All medication must be kept in the school office in its original container with a note from the student's doctor and parent.

Child Abuse and or Neglect

Each teacher is trained to observe signs of abuse and neglect. By law all teachers are required to report these observations to the proper authorities immediately.

Lunch Policy

Students may bring a lunch box or purchase lunch from the school. Breakable containers, such as glass, are not permitted. There are no facilities provided for students to refrigerate or reheat any food. Include in the lunch box disposable utensils, paper napkin and an ice pack. Lunches brought in during school hours must be delivered to the school office. Lunch is available for purchase at the school. A form with the menu of choice has to be filled in advance and prepaid weekly or monthly.

Promotion and Grade Retention

If the teacher and Director feel that a student will not profit from being promoted to the next grade, the parents will be asked to meet with the school officials to review the child's assessment.

Fighting

Our teachers are trained to deal with your child and will explain in positive and kind words why they cannot, they must not or they should no fight. Students who are having problems with other students are to report the problem to their teacher; children will be given enough time to deal with the situation in a positive manner. Fighting will not be tolerated for any reason. If this behavior persists parents are required to come to the school to pick up their child.

Homework

The teacher according to the child's individual learning needs and development will assign homework to Kindergarten students.

Conduct

Certain basic rules of conduct and manners are expected of every student. Courtesy such as offering help, respect for others, politeness, saying please or thank you, kindness to others, are admirable qualities that are expected of all students. Parents or guardians will be informed in writing if any incident of misconduct occurs.
